Cleveland's metal veterans Rikets return with their long-awaited new EP, Tales from the Construct AlphAA v.1, out April 20 via Godsize Music.

Marking the band’s first release in nearly 16 years, the EP picks up where All American Death Cult left off — but evolves into darker, more synth-driven industrial territory while staying rooted in crushing metal intensity. Written during the COVID lockdowns, the record explores themes of isolation, artificial intelligence, transhumanism, and systemic overreach.

Produced by Ben Schigel (Chimaira, Drowning Pool, Walls of Jericho, MGK), this release delivers massive riffs, infectious hooks, and haunting choruses that stay with you long after the final track fades out. Songs like “Misery,” “Infected and Controlled,” and “FEED” showcase a band reborn; sharper, heavier, and more relevant than ever.
